Dear Commission B Representative,

During the 2001 EM Theory Symposium ( EMTS ) in Victoria, we held, as is customary, a Comm B business meeting and below you will find a brief report from this meeting. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to § 4 in the report on the future of the EMTS. A group called the Technical Advisory Board will be formed to deal with the questions touched upon there and it should get going during the fall of 2001. Your thoughts and suggestions concerning § 4 will be very much appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you concerning what is brought up there.
