Q1 : ... the number of pages authorised for the abstract :
R1 : The abstract should be up to 4 pages long.

Q2 : May I send the "application form of student grant + abstract + CV" by electronic mail?
R2 : Certainly, you may submit your application via e-mail, mail or fax, but you must submit your paper on-line via the site of the GA at  http://www.ursiga2005.org/ecm/index.php 

Q3 : Is it correct that the deadline for submission of YS applications is moved to 15 January 2005?
R3 : Yes, that is correct

Q4 : do Young Scientist applicants have to submit their paper via the normal channels?
R4 : Yes, you need to submit your paper on-line via the site of the GA at  http://www.ursiga2005.org/ecm/index.php 

Q5 : What are the deadlines with regard to the YS programme and abstract/paper submission?

Application deadline for Young Scientist Award: 15 January 2005
Submission of on-line Abstract for Young Scientist applicants : 15 February 2005.
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection of abstract : 15 April 2005.
Young Scientist Awards announcement of acceptance on web site: June 2005.
Final Full Paper Submission: 15 June 2005.
Registration Fee: 15 July 2005.

Q6 : Can I still submit my application (after 31 January 2005)?
R6 : No, I am really sorry, the YS application deadline was closed on Monday 31 January. If you submitted your application before 31 January, you should by now have received an e-mail from us, acknowledging receipt of your application. If you did not, please contact us as soon as possible.
